Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and InsightStudios, LLC ("Beefcake", "we", "us") governing your use of the Beefcake app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Beefcake. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app or the Plans page on this website.

The Service

Beefcake lets you build routines, log workouts and sets, track progress, and back up your data. The Basic (free) plan includes all core features and automatic backup, with limits on how many routines, custom exercises, and custom charts you can create. Beefcake Pro removes those creation limits. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Subscriptions and billing

• Pricing. Beefcake Pro is offered at $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year (prices in U.S. dollars; taxes may apply).
• Payment. Subscriptions are purchased and billed securely through this website via our payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your payment method is charged at the start of each period.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the Plans page. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the current billing period, then move to the free Basic plan. Existing data is never deleted when you downgrade — only new creation past the Basic limits is paused.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Price changes. If we change subscription pricing, the new price applies to your next renewal; we'll give you notice as required by law.

Health and fitness disclaimer

Beefcake is a tracking and informational tool, not medical advice. We are not a healthcare provider, and the Service does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Exercise carries inherent risks. Consult a qualified physician before beginning any exercise program, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. You are solely responsible for exercising safely and within your abilities. You use the Service and any information in it at your own risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or interfere with the Service; attempt to access other users' accounts or data; reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; or use it for any unlawful purpose. You retain ownership of the workout data you create; you grant us the limited rights needed to store, back up, and display it back to you as part of providing the Service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost — please keep this in mind, though we work hard to protect and back up your data. To the fullest extent permitted by law, InsightStudios, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we make changes.
